Every organization has different needs. Each of the services listed below can be tailored to meet your own unique objectives; they can be used individually or as part of a total solution to create a comprehensive enterprise-wide business continuity program.
Business Continuity Plan Audit
Examine plans that you have in place now and provide a detailed report highlighting action areas.
Snapshot in Time(SiT)
A SiT can provide assessments at both enterprise and business unit levels. It provides the opportunity to review the overall status and develop ongoing objectives for the enhancement of an internal business continuity program as well as achieving a Snapshot-in-Time baseline for each business unit.
Assessment against Standards and/or Regulations
An assessment of the BCM program can be provided to identify any gaps or to verify to stakeholders, regulators and/or clients that you are meeting the requirements of in compliance with various regulations and/or standards (such as NASD rule 3500, FDIC or BS25999). BPSI can also assist with the self assessment and/or pre certification for BS25999.
Business Impact Analysis (BIA)
A Business Impact Analysis (BIA) is one of the building blocks necessary for the complete development of any business continuity program. BPSI will leverage existing client resources for their in-depth knowledge of the existing and future client environment and processes to develop a detailed understanding of the services being provided and implications associated with any type of loss.
Risk Analysis (RA)
The objective of a risk analysis (RA) is to identify and determine what threats can cause a service disruption or potential disaster situation. BPSI will identify risk and provide high risk, medium risk, and low risk frameworks for the creation of business recovery plans and management reports.
IT Risk/Security Review
Examine all parts of your IT infrastructure and highlight areas where security can be improved, make relevant recommendations encompassing internal and external issues and provide solutions for IT disaster recovery needs.
Business Continuity Planning Project Management
Coordinate all parts of the recovery planning process, working closely with your personnel and guiding them through all the relevant parts of this process, ensuring that your team will gain the necessary knowledge to maintain the Business Continuity/Recovery Plans created.
Maintenance of the Plan
Update your plan on a quarterly basis or other agreed upon time frame, training members of your staff to allow them to maintain the plan.
BC Plan Testing
BPSI will develop test strategies to simulate execution of the BCP. All plans (table top or physical) will are aimed at verifying the BCP is accurate, familiarizing the participants with the recovery process and specifically their role. The test will identify weaknesses in the documentation and internal and external communication methods. The deliverable will document the test results and will also provide suggestions to enhance the BCP program.
